CORES Registry CORES encourages uptake and use of the registration model developed by the SCHEMAS project by maintaining a registry of core vocabularies and profiles. A schema creation tool and Web interface allow projects and services to register their schemas. The workshop aimed at identifying issues involved in translating local metadata models into interoperable forms. The workshop materials are available. Related work SCHEMAS Registry : contains several metadata element sets as well as a large number of activity reports which describe and comment on various metadata related activities and initiatives.
